sorts and lengths. You can enjoy a 2-hour sailboat charter, a sunset harbor
cruise on a beautiful sailboat, or a full day sail with a picnic lunch and a
visit to a Maine island.
Maine windjammer tours offer weekend or weeklong sailing trips aboard an
authentic sailing schooner or tall ship. These sailing excursion are all
inclusive, your captain and crew serve you three meals a day and let you
hoist a sail. If you want to learn to sail, sailing instruction is often
available as part of your charter package. Private charters of sailboats on
the Maine coast allow experienced sailors to explore the coastline on their
own.
